Descripció i Metodologia: |
The idea behind the course is learning by doing. Participants will reflect on the contents of the course while designing a unit and its evaluation as the engine to plan the final task. The course, therefore, is organised following the steps needed to design a unit.
One of the aims is that teachers enrich a unit they have already planned:
• with ICT webtools: teachers will learn how to introduce and design a unit using online learning landscapes designed with genially, googleslides or thinkling.
• by adding one of the Sustainable Development Goals: The goal will be presented in various digital formats such as liveworksheet or wakelet
• with gamification, cooperative techniques or flipped classroom: Edpuzzle, genially, googleforms or googlesites will be used to design all these activities.
• by providing efficient feedback: special attention will be paid to online ways of providing feedback such as vocaroo, talk and comment or mentimeter.

Objectius |
1. To enrich EFL activities with ICT tools with a strong accent in developing English key competencies.
2. To foster the introduction of Sustainable Development Goals in EFL lessons
3. To design a resource based on ICT, gamification or flipped classroom.
4. To evaluate competency-based units.

Continguts |
Module 1: 4 hours
Introduction to the course
Analysis of online and offline activities to start off a new course / unit/ activity.
Module 2: 7 hours
Revising basic concepts in EFL modern pedagogy: backwards planning, assessment for learning and feedback, and competencies.
Analysis of engaging activities to present contents, to develop cooperative learning and to develop communicative competences in English.
Design of a learning landscape with genially, googleslides or thinklink.
Module 3: 7 hours
Analysis of engaging activities based on flipped classroom, gamification and ICT. All these activities will use webtools such as edpuzzle, googleforms, googlesites, vocaroo, talk and comment, or genially.
Module 4: 6 hours
Analysis of Sustainable Development Goals in EFL lessons. The lesson will be presented in various digital formats such as liveworksheets or wakelet.
Module 5: 6 hours
Improving a unit that teachers already have with SDG and ICT tools. The module will end with a show-off of all the units redesigned.

Avaluació |
Participants have to hand in all the activities in the course and have to have positive attainment of each module. There is also a compulsory online meeting they have to attend. Finally, they have to fill in a satisfaction questionnaire.

Persones destinatàries |
Secondary English teachers (ESO, BAT and CFA) with a C1 minimum.
Requisits:
1. Disposar d'usuari XTEC actiu.
2. Haver certificat les activitats de formació adjudicades durant aquest curs acadèmic i l'anterior.
Criteris específics d’adjudicació. Les sol•licituds admeses s'ordenaran en funció de:
1.Vinculació al centre de treball 2.1.Funcionari 2.2.Interí 2.3. Substitut
2.Nivell de llengua C2,C1.
Si ets docent d'un centre concertat, municipal o les acreditacions d’especialitat i/o nivell de llengua (C2 o C1) requerides a la convocatòria no consten a l’ATRI, caldrà omplir aquest FORMULARI dins del període de sol•licitud.
